Roster overhaul sinks Canucks' season
Vancouver has plummeted this season, tracking 26 points behind last year's pace at the same 69-game mark, largely due to a massive roster overhaul. The departures of cornerstone players like Quinn Hughes (76 points last season) and J.T. Miller (35 points in 40 games last season) have gutted the offense. Compounding this, starting goalie Kevin Lankinen has regressed severely, with his save percentage dropping to .875 from .901. Without their former offensive leaders and with poor goaltending, the Canucks' defense has also suffered, leading to a significant increase in goals against.
